Peer Review Rubric – Article Draft Evaluation
As part of my EDLD 5317 coursework, I participated in a collaborative peer review using a rubric to evaluate my article draft on AI in early childhood education. My peers rated the draft as exceeding expectations in content knowledge, critical thinking, APA formatting, and presentation. Feedback highlighted strong integration of research and classroom experience, clear structure, and actionable strategies for educators. Suggestions for improvement included elaborating on practical strategies and adding more personal reflection. This process strengthened my work through constructive critique and affirmed its readiness for publication.

This digital presentation served as an elevator pitch and overview of my publication, highlighting key ideas such as developmentally appropriate AI integration, teacher-led innovation, and strategies to support early learners. The project was designed to communicate my vision to fellow educators, leaders, and stakeholders in a clear, engaging format.

EDLD 5317 – Digital Learning & Leading
This reflection captures my growth as a digital learning advocate and instructional leader. Over eight weeks, I explored how to integrate technology meaningfully, designed a publication on AI in early childhood, and collaborated with peers to deepen my thinking. Grounded in Fink’s model of significant learning, this experience reinforced my belief that technology should enhance—not replace—authentic, developmentally appropriate learning.
